A Nigerian female preacher has advised women to ensure that whatever money they have is submitted “to their husband before spending a dime.”
The cleric identified as Prophetess Patience Obi cautioned that if they failed to hand over the money, they risk offending God.
She advised those who earn salaries to always show the alerts to their husbands who would decide how the salary would be disbursed.
According to her, the reason is because the husband is the head to the home and must take charge of how his wife spends her money.
She added that failure to comply could lead to unanswered prayers.
According to her, “Your money should be submitted to your husband before you spend a dime out of it. Yes, you heard me right.
“Your money belongs to both of you and he has the authority, full authority, over the money, over your resources, to tell you how to spend it and and what to do with it.
“Remember, he is the head of the home. Yo are to submit to him in everything including “My money,” the way we call it.
“It is ‘our money’ and he has total control over the money.”
