The Founder and Bishop of Living Faith Church also known as Winners Chapel, David Oyedepo was attacked on Sunday by a strange man.
Reports say that the man beat the entire security of the church and made for the pulpit in a flash.
The incident occurred at the church headquarters in Canaanland, Ota, Ogun State while the Bishop was preaching.
PM News reports that the assailant, accessed the church through the Love wing entrance right in the middle of church service.
The incident which lasted only 10 seconds took the entire congregation by surprise as the stage man came in dressed in a white suit just like Bishop Oyedepo.
He made for the elderly preacher’s legs, trying to pull him down when security operatives including the Bishop’s son came to his aid.
They forcefully pulled the man away to prevent him from harming the cleric or making him fall on the alter.
The incident has seen the church tighten its security with more ushers and private security now manning the peripheries of the alter closely.

This incident is coming 2 Sundays before the kick off of the Shiloh program. Reports add that security took the man out of the church auditorium and gave him some beating before interrogating him.
