A married man almost lost his life after a sex romp with a married woman who was allegedly laced with ‘magun.’
According to Vanguard, the incident happened at the Igobe Compound of Yagbawest Local Government Area of Kogi State.
A source told the newspaper that the man and woman are married to their individual spouses. However, the woman has a boyfriend who cast the ‘magun’ spell on the lady to prevent her from sleeping with anyone else.
According to the source, “The man (name withheld) went to meet his lover (prostitute) at Igobe Compound last week to sleep with her.
“He started convulsing in the process. The man ket shouting: ‘help me take care of my wife and children’ as he thought he would die by the encounter, but all thanks to the medicine man who came to his rescue.
“The woman’s secret boyfriend was the one that put the magun on her.
“The woman did not even know she was infected with magun.
“Also, her husband seems to be unaware about his wife having been infected with magun. He has not been sleeping with her lately.”
In the Yoruba culture of Western region of Nigeria, the strange tradition of Magun means “do not climb”.
It is done to restrict either man or woman from sexual promiscuity. …
A man with the spell who cheats could end up crowing like a rooster, enlargement of the private part, headaches, convulsions or somersaulting.
