Ace Nollywood actor, Jim Iyke has revealed that the sensational fight between him and colleague, Uche Maduagwu was staged.
He added that Maduagwu was rewarded handsomely for the ‘fight.’
Jim Iyke revealed this in an interview with Media mogul, Chude Jideonwo.
Uche Maduagwu had disclosed that Jim Iyke was being investigated by the EFCC regarding the source of his wealth.
Jim then traced the controversial actor and movie producer to a hotel where he ‘beat him up’ thoroughly.
Many Nigerians, at the time time, felt it was a publicity stunt especially as Jim released a movie titled ‘Bad Comment.’
In the interview with Chude, jim.iyke joked about people loving rumours and gossips and stressed that Maduagwu was handsomely rewarded with over N20 million for his participation.
Jim insisted during the interview with Chude that the fight was “orchestrated” as he had grown too big in his career to mess himself up.
He said he needed t give people a feel of what social media can do to people’s lives.
