Pope Francis Urges Religious Sisters to Fight Back when Maltreated

The head of the Catholic Church, the largest Christian congregation in the world, Pope Francis has advised religious sisters to fight back when they are maltreated or “reduced to a life of servitude” by male members of the Church.

In a video message he posted yesterday, 1st of February, the Pope Francis@Pontifex said:

“Let us #PrayTogether for religious sisters and consecrated women, thanking them for their mission and their courage; may they continue to find new responses to the challenges of our times. #PrayerIntention
