Fatimah, daughter of the of the late Iyalode of Ibaanland, Alhaja Chief Amina Abiodun has been killed by yet to be identified assassins.
News monitored on Oyo Insight reports that Fatimah was killed at her residence at Basorun/Bodija area of Ibadan.
Reason for the killing is not yet know as her assailants are still at large.
Considered an elegant and influential woman, Fatimah’s mother died at the age of 93 in 2018.
Chief Amina Abiodun was the 14th Iyalode of Ibadan, a position that normally accorded incumbents enormous influence and powers.
She was therefore very influential among the Market women and within the Olubadan-in Counci, the traditional government of Ibadanland.
The Iyalode reigned from 2007 to 2018.
