A Master of Ceremony (MC) identified as Emmanuel Chigozie is alleged to have beaten his pregnant wife to death at their resident in the Okota area of Lagos State.

The couple had been married for four years but their union had endless cases of battery, according to the wife, Itunu.

Chigozie was also accused of cheating on his wife since she gave birth to their first child.

The last incident occurred when the pregnant wife demanded that her husband repay her a N2.7 million loan she had given him.

Chigozie pounced on her beating endlessly until she was rushed to the hospital. Unfortunately, she died on the way along with her unborn baby.

Itunu was said to have been afraid of complications during childbirth since December 2021
