Nollywood actor and movie producer, Uche Maduagwu has revealed that his colleague, Genevieve Nnaji was told by her man to stay off social media.
Madwagwu took to his Instagram account to commend the veteran actress for instantly obeying her man and limiting to the barest minimum, the use of social media
He used the occasion to wish her well and hope that her relationship turns out like that of Rita Dominic.
Uche wrote: “I go LOVE no be small thing, if a beautiful woman (Genevieve) fit agree to stay away from social media for a while to please her man then water don pass Kpokpo Garri.
“Anyways congrats my sister, may it lead to marriage like Rita Dominic own, to every lady waiting on Chineke God for wedding not like Nkechi Ikebe FC honorable audio marriage own, i mean REAL wedding like Aunty Susu and Banky w own, as you type amen e go happen within 3 months”
Uche Maduagwu added further that, “During the time of Genevieve Nnaji, Aunty Omotola, Rita Dominic, sister Kate, sister Ini Edo just to mention but a few, #nollywood was RESPECTED all over the #worldbecause of the standard and meritocracy of our movies, but with the influx of the so called NEW nollywood actresses, mediocrity is now the order of the day, it is like they pack the whole Allen Avenue and Pekas ambassadors into our industry, the way dem dey look for wealthy #MARRIED men with the speed of light is preposterously worrisome to say the least, we use better #technology and spend bigger financially on movies but the quality of acting and professionalism has dropped drastically.’
