Security Operatives Arrest 2 Suspected Cult Members for Gang-Raping 17-Year-Old Girl

Operatives of Amotekun, the Western Nigeria Security Network, in Osun State have arrested two suspected cult members for allegedly gang-raping a 17-year-old girl in Iwo town.

The arrested suspects are Olamilekan Elijah, 23, and Adegoroye Afeez, 24,

Speaking to newsmen, the Field Commander of Amotekun in the state, Amitolu Shittu, said his men rescued the lady from the suspected cult members

He said the young men, who claimed to be members of the Buccaneers confraternity, had lured the lady to a house belonging to Azeez, where she was raped despite being on her menstrual cycle.

Shitu said “The 17-year-old girl was raped by the two suspects and filmed, the suspects threatened the victim that the video recording will be released on social media if she informs anybody of what transpired.



“Her phone was ceased and taken to the police at Iwo by the suspect (reason for this not known yet).

“Our investigations revealed to us that the two suspects are members of the Buccaneers confraternity otherwise known as the Alora, in the claims of the suspect they said they only want to be fine with the girl.”

According to Daily Trust, the suspects who claimed to be members of the Alora Fraternities, said they carried out the act to punish the girl.
