Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu has given colleague, Funke Akindele tips on ways to handle her stepson who is also the first son of her husband, JJC Skillz.
Uche urged JJC Skillz and his wife to show love to their son, Benito in view of the fact that his recent outburst on social media is a sign he lacks love and attention.
The outspoken actor, who is known to wade in whenever a colleague is facing a challenge, gave his advise via his Instagram handle.
He advised the couple not to ignore the teenage boy saying he is throwing the tantrums just to get his father’s attention.
Uche Maduagwu recounted his own experiences living with his stepmother and how ignored he felt. He noted that the situation made him to also throw up a lot of tantrums just to get his father’s attention.
He further urged Funke to reach out to her stepson and tell her husband to keep showing him all the love he needs even on social media.
Uche Maduagwu wrote:
“Dear Aunty Funke,
No marriage is perfect, sometimes #couple will even not talk to each other for weeks and months, live apart and even cry all night, it is called #marriagenot Disneyland.
“If you listen to Benito talk on #PHONE you will realise his only trying to get his #dad attention, I have been there, I have a stepmum and step brothers, back then I felt invisible and thought my dad only gives all his affection to my stepmum and step brothers, so to get his attention I go out to get into trouble and misbehave, and it felt #good because it works.
“I am sure everyone who has a stepmum can relate to this, so my sister, reach out to him, and tell JJC to keep showing him #love even on social media, as for your marriage, jesus will take control.“
Earlier on Saturday, JJC Skillz’s son, Benito, made dating allegations against his dad and stepmom.
The teenage boy alleged that his father and Funke Akindele are no longer living together.
He also added that they cheated on themselves, on several occasions.
In his words: “They are not really together. They both cheat on each other, and they both had a fight. My dad is practically living somewhere else. I don’t even have any care for them no more. I can’t talk to them as a couple anymore. I can only say what I have seen. They are in an open relationship….Funke is a bad-tempered and rude person, she maltreats her staff and everyone that lives in her house.”
