The Labour Party has submitted the name of politician and physician, Doyin Okupe as running mate to its flag bearer, Peter Obi.
The choice has enabled them beat the Friday, June 17 deadline given to political parties by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
The Labour Party submitted Doyin Okupe’s name as an interim running mate that would later be changed after the party stakeholders must have agreed on the suitable vice presidential candidate for the 2023 election.
Okupe, is the Director-General of Peter obi Campaign team.
