JUST IN ! Deborah Samuels’ Parents Open Restaurant in Port Harcourt (photos)

The late Deborah Samuels’ parents have witnessed another landmark as enjoy more of GOD’s grace.

The latest story of the transformation of their lives happened as they become restaurant owners in Port Harcourt, Rivers State capital city.

Deborah was the 200 Level student that was beaten and burnt to death weeks ago by her colleagues at the premises of the Shehu Shagari College of Education, Sokoto State where she was a student.

The late Christian student was accused of blaspheming Islam’s Prophet Muhammad and was set ablaze by her male Muslim coursemates.

The incident sparked reactions and almost resulted in a religious crisis when it extended to some parts of the country, including Abuja and Bauchi.

In their deep grief, Deborah’s parents got comforted with the help of a Port Harcourt-based Christian clergyman, the General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries, Chibuzor Chinyere.

Mr Samuel Yakubu and his family were relocated from Niger State where they lived to Port Harcourt. Apostle Chinyere sheltered them and enrolled the children in schools.

Weeks after, Apostle Chineyere again through his ministry, donated a restaurant to the deceased family.

The restaurant was declared open today, Monday, June 20, 2022.
