A woman identified as Elizabeth Temitope has been confronted with her mother’s decades-long secret.
She said she was recently informed that veteran musician, King Sunny Ade is her father.
Speaking in an interview with Punch, Temitope stated that her mother came clean with the secret behind her birth after she met with a prophet.
Elizabeth explained in Yoruba language that the prophet told her there is a secret her mother is keeping from her.
After the prophecy, she invited her mother to her home and and confronted her with the partial prophecy.
She said that it was at that moment the older woman revealed to her that the man whom she thought was her father was indeed not her biological father.
She explained that her mother told her she dated the veteran musician while they were young.
Her mum revealed further that was two months pregnant when she was given out in marriage to an elderly man.
Elizabeth explained that things did not work out between the couple and her mother later returned home where she gave birth to her. Her mother left her with her grandparents and got married to another man.
Punch state that all efforts to reach KSA on her part, the human rights lawyer’s part and by the publication were unsuccessful.
