The Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale, popularly known as Emperor Telu 1 has pledged undying support for the Osun state governor-elect Senator Ademola Adeleke who recently defeated the incumbent Governor Oyetola.

The controversial monarch congratulated Adeleke asking people to cooperate with him.

While being hosted by the presidential candidate of the APC, Bola Tinubu, prior to the election, the Oluwo promised the All Progressive Congress (APC) 90,000.

He said: “I am confident of delivering 90,000 votes for Governor Oyetola.” he said.

Unfortunately for the governor, he lost to the opposition PDP with Senator Ademola Adeleke as flag bearer.

In a statement signed by his Press Secretary, Alli Ibraheem, and posted on his social media handle, the monarch called on Osun residents to cooperate with Adeleke so that Osun would continue to be great in the face of global economic hardship.
