Femi Kuti, Nigerian afro beat star and son of fiery human rights activist and world renowned musician, Fela Kuti has declared that he finds it almost impossible to vouch for any of Nigeria’s 2023 presidential candidate.

This comes as Nigerians get ready for the general elections scheduled to take place in February 2023.

The foremost candidates that will take part in the election include Atiku Abubakar, Bola Tinubu, Peter Obi, and Rabiu Kwankwaso.

Public opinions have been rife about each of the party flag bearers.

On his part, Femi Kuti has also revealved what he feels about the candidature of of each flag bearer especially Peter Obi, considered a strong 3rd force by all standards.

According to the singer, he has his reservations for all the candidates. He believes that the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, is too old to govern Nigeria.

The afro beat singer stated that as for Peter Obi, he knows he has a lot of support from different parts of the country, however, he is not completely convinced about him because of his decision not to speak against corruption.

Femi explained that although he has not heard about corruption allegations against Peter Obi during his time in power, he feels that he does not talk about corruption enough.

The award-winning musician noted that he would have loved it if Peter Obi was more vocal about his plans to fight corruption.

He noted that for now, he is not convinced about the integrity of any of the candidates.
