Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson Okojie has opened up about why she stopped taking romantic roles in movies.
Mercy Johnson’s first movie ‘The Maid’ brought her into limelight and earned her roles in numerous blockbuster movies including comedy and romantic movies.
The 38-year-old mother of four stated that her reason for not taking such roles was due to her marriage to Prince Odianosen Okojie.
According to her, her husband was not happy seeing her play romantic roles so she had to put an end to it when they got married.
The actress met her husband for the first time in 2008 on a flight to France, and they got married in August 27, 2011.
