The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu has cautioned praise singers comparing Nollywood actress and politician, Funke Akindele, with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

Tinubu describe the move as an insult saying that the younger politician is ‘Inconsequential.’

The renowned politician made his stance known during the APC caucus meeting on Wednesday at the Lagos APC secretariat, Acme Road, Ogba.

The meeting was led by the Lagos State Governor, Sanwo-Olu and presided over by the Lagos APC chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi.

In response to a song by some women at the meeting who compared the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) deputy governorship candidate, Funke Akindele to Governor Sanwo-Olu, Tinubu said Funke Akindele is inconsequential.

He said comparing the two politicians is simply an insult and told them to stop mentioning her name.

The Jagaban described how his political base in Lagos became stronger after he left it to pursue his presidential ambition.

According to him, those entrusted with the administration of the party affairs after he weaned himself off the supervisory duty to pursue another ambition in Abuja have not made him regret his decision.
