Cameroonian Football Federation President, Samuel Eto’o attacked and brutally beat up a photographer in Qatar on Tuesday.
A viral video on social media showed the moment the former Barcelona star descended on a photographer who seemed to have been stalking him while being led by some FIFA officials at the World Cup in Qatar.
The incident is said to have happened at the 974 Stadium. Eto’o was escorted out of the stadium while a crowd of fans approached him for photos and pleasantries.
However, one approached him with a camera to record him and said something not yet clear to the media that angered the Cameroonian star.
After Eto’o walked away from the fan, the latter appeared to have said something that angered the football star and he then turned and approached the aggressor.
It took several people accompanying the ex-footballer to restrain him from further engagement as the fan fell on the floor.
However, Eto’o disengaged himself and descended on the fan kicking and punching him in the face and upper chest.
