Maid of Assassinated Ex-CBN Staff Survives Alleged Drowning

The maid of the assassinated of ex-CBN staff, Kehinde Fatinoye has survived not just the arson that claimed their lives, but the alleged growing by the assassins.

On new year’s day, yet to be identified assassins stormed their residence located within the Ibara Government Reservation Area (GRA), Abeokuta, and murdered Kehinde and his wife, Bukola.

Reports say that after killing the couple the bandits burnt their house with the corpses inside. They then kidnapped their son and a maid.

However, a day after the couple were buried in Abeokuta, the corpse of their son, Oreoluwa was discovered in a river.

It was learned that Oreoluwa was tied and thrown into a river along the Adigbe–Obada road in Abeokuta.

Reports also emerged that Oreoluwa was thrown into the river alongside the maid.

A developing story has it that their maid who claimed to have been thrown into the river survived.

The maid was said to have told residents of the community that he and Oreoluwa were taken to a river and pushed inside with their hands tied.

He, however, stated that he was lucky to have survived with minor injuries.

Tvc news revealed that the surviving maid identified the corpse of Oreoluwa at the river on Tuesday.

Police noted that an investigation is ongoing to unravel the cause of the attack.
