The spokesperson for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council, Festus Keyamo, has revealed that the Labour Party (LP) flag bearer, Peter Obi, is Tinubu’s greatest weapon to win the 2023 presidential election.
Keyamo stated this on Wednesday during an interview on ARISE TV while reacting to the endorsement of Peter Obi by former President Olusegun Obasanjo, and ex-commissioner, Edwin Clark.
According to Keyamo, similar actions occurred in the 2019 elections, but it all resulted in nothing.
The Minister of State for Labour and Employment said it is already too late to pull out from the race and can openly say that Peter Obi is the biggest reason why Tinubu would win the 2023 election.
Keyamo then mocked Obi saying he would be given the front seat during the swearing-in of Bola Tinubu.
He said: “When we say that Peter Obi is the greatest weapon Asiwaju Tinubu has, people do not understand what we are saying. I can say it openly now because it is too late to pull out; Peter Obi is the biggest reason why Ahmed Bola Tinubu would win the 2023 election.
On a lighter note, on the day of swearing in of Tinubu as President, I will beg that Peter Obi is given the front seat; he will sit near Tinubu as his best friend”, he said.
