There’s apprehension in the family and constituency of the Labour Party candidate for Ahoada West Constituency in Rivers State after their son, Agidah was kidnapped by unknown persons

He is alleged to have been abducted from his hotel room after a political campaign.

His sister, Joyce Ugbosu took to her Instagram page to give details of the politician who is contesting for office in an election for the very first time.

Posting as @Iamjoyceugbosu, she said:

“Election No be War 🚫

“He is barely 30 young an ambitious lad, with a dream of a better Nigeria 😢 his name is Boma, we are from the same womb 😢 he is my close confidant, a loyalist to the core, he helps me with everything I do and more 😞

“He has always been a political enthusiast like me from his school days, he encouraged me to run to office this year and I said it’s not time but he summoned courage and picked up a Labour Party ticket and entered the race for Rivers state house of assembly.

“His opponent are old men, they are rich they have everything they ‘Goliaths’ why are they afraid of little David?🤷🏼‍♀️

“They offered him 10 million naira to step down the young man refused and in the early hours of yesterday 8th March 2023 he was abducted. This is over 24 hours we have not heard from him and his captors.

“I am a believer, I have prayed and ask all that I know to pray along with me, God has assured me he will be back. I have peace ✌️ on this matter.

“Kindly help me spread this on all social media platforms, tag everyone and spread this news so je he can be realeased.“
