Mrs Nkechi Rhodes-Vivour, the mother of Labour party governorship candidate for Lagos state, Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour has lamented the Level of corruption she witnessed at her polling unit during the governorship polls.
In the viral video, Nkechi alleged she witnessed multiple vote buying and the Nigerian police refused to act while it occurred.
In her words, people are buying votes openly. “How can you vote and you show who you’re voting for, and the APC person is capturing you to go and give you money ? Is that the society we’re trying to change ?
“The police are not saying anything. INEC officials are watching and not doing anything.”
She said she’s not happy with the conduct of the elections.
