A Nigerian man has taken to his Instagram page to complain about the quantity of fuel he bought for N5000.

This comes amid scarcity and increase in the prices of petroleum products across the country.

Fuel scarcity surfaced across the country on Monday, May 29 after president Tinubu announced that the regime of fuel subsidy is over.

He stated that the 2023 budget made no provision for fuel subsidy after June.

His statement caused many Nigerians to troop to the fuel stations to purchase the product. They were however shocked to see some stations closed for business with claims that they have no fuel in their storage.

The man who was lucky to get some to buy, shared a video showing the quantity he got for the sum of N5000.
