Nigerian Superstar singer, Burna Boy paid tribute to Mrs. Jane Dolapo Balogun, the late mother of his colleague, Wizkid, during a recent concert in the US.
Mrs. Balogun passed away on Friday.
Since her death was made public, celebrities and public figures have flooded the social media space with condolence messages to singer, Wizkid and his family.
Burna Boy was more dramatic as he paused his set at the Afronation Fest in Detroit, United States, to pay tribute to the late Mrs. Balogun.
He commanded the crowd to observe a minute silence for the late mother of the Starboy boss, before proceeding to sing a line from his collaborative song with Wizkid, ‘Ginger.’
