Actress Rita Daniels, mother of co-actor, Regina Daniels has been appointed Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Women Mobilization & Empowerment by the Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori.
The Nollywood star announced her latest appointment on Tuesday via her Instagram page.
Before the post, Rita was the leader of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Women Wing and played a crucial role in mobilizing women’s support for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) during the governorship election.
He daughter, Regina is adjudged to have played a crucial role in the election of he own husband, Ned Nwoko as a Senator.
It is believed that Rita Daniels mother would bring to bear her years of experience in delivering effective service.
Rita Daniels expressed gratitude to the Governor for finding her worthy of the strategic position, assuring that she would give her best to promote the State.
