A video has surfaced showing the moment the embattled minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu, testified that the founder of the Winners Chapel, David Oyedepo, prayed for her to become a minister.
Speaking during the 2023 annual Shiloh program, she said she approached the revered cleric after the same program in 2022 to pray for her to be given the exalted office and he did.
Edu said that she returned (in 2023) to testify that her heart desires had been met.
Reacting, Nigerians berated the embattled minister for ruining a God-given opportunity.
