Nigerian Air Force Training Jet Crashes

A Super Mushshak trainer aircraft of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) crashed this Thursday afternoon.

The NAF spokesman, Air Vice Marshal Edward Gabkwt said the incident occurred at approximately 2:35 pm, about 3.5 nautical miles from the Kaduna Military airfield.

The aircraft was said to have been carrying two pilots returning from a routine training flight, encountered the mishap. Fortunately, both pilots emerged from the crash unhurt.

In response to the event, the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, has directed a preliminary investigation to determine the immediate cause of the mishap.

The investigation aims to assess the incident’s circumstances and gather information for a thorough understanding.
