The Lagos State Government has embarked on the demolition of structures and shanties built around Jakande Estate and Maiyegun, Lekki.
The state Commissioner for Works and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, disclosed this on social media on Monday, March 11.
He stated that the enforcement is aimed at reclaiming the coastal road alignment for the Lagos – Calabar Highway project of the Federal Government, and the urban regeneration of the area.
