A trending video shows a lady who proclaimed herself as the president of the Yoruba Nation, Ms Modupe Onitiri Abiola.
Abiola insisted that the region is sovereign and does not want to be part of Nigeria anymore.
She Proclaimed that they are the Democratic Republic of the Yoruba, a sovereign state with effect from April 12.
The defiant Ms Abiola is alleged to be behind the invasion of the Oyo State Secretariat.
The invaders were however, promptly repelled by a joint force of security personnel who equally arrested scores of them. Many areas and ammunition, including charms were also recovered from the culprits.
