Nigerian music legend, Onyeka Onwenu, popularly known as the “Elegant Stallion” d!ed Tuesday night at 72, after she was reported to have collapsed during a performance.

She was the guest artiste at the 80th birthday party of the Chief Executive Officer of Emzor Pharmaceuticals, Stella Okolie, on Tuesday night in Lagos.

Onwenu was said to have been immediately rushed to Reddington Hospital Victoria Island Lagos, where she reportedly passed away.

In a video shared by NTA on Wednesday, July 31, the remains of late Onwenu was seen leaving the premises of the hospital in a Mercedes Benz ambulance.
