A student of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (ABU), identified as Becky Inuwa, who was abducted along the Maiduguri expressway has regained freedom after 2 years.

Tanko was also the friend who took to Twitter to make the announcement when Becky was kidnapped along Maiduguri road in October 2020.

Sharing her photo, he wrote; “She was kidnapped along Maiduguri Road since October 2020 and up till now we don’t know her whereabouts. Please we need your prayers for Becky Inuwa. Let her Captors release her ijn”

Announcing her release today via the microblogging platform, Godwin Tanko noted that Becky was rescued from Boko Haram captivity by the Nigerian army.

Godwin Tanko@GodwinTanko “Today I’m celebrating life, I’ve shed tears of joy for this news, this is my course mate in ABU, BeckyInuwa who was abducted by Boko Haram terrorists for over 1½ years but has been rescued by our great Nigerian Army
