The embattled former Head of Police Intelligence Response Team (IRT), DCP Abba Kyari is in fresh trouble, this time, with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
Reports say the super-cop is declared wanted by that agency for links to some drug offenses.
The spokesperson for the NDLEA, Femi Babafemi said during a press briefing on Monday at the agency’s headquarters that Kyari is being investigated over his connection with a global syndicate of drug dealers.
Kyari, until his suspension by the commission, was the officer-in-charge of the Inspector-General of Police Intelligence Response Team.
The suspended DCP had in 2021, been indicated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation of the United States of America in the case of fraud involving Instagram celebrity, Ramon Abbas, aka Hushpuppi.
