Access Bank CEO, Hebert Wigwe D!es in Helicopter Crash

A helicopter with 6 people on board, including the CEO of Access Bank is reported to have crashed on Friday night near Nipton, California.

The US Federal Aviation Administration reported that as of Saturday morning, no survivors had been found. The tragic news was also corroborated in a statement by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.

We were made aware of a downed aircraft at approximately 10:12 p.m., on February 10, 2024. The scene of the crash was determined to be east of the 15-Freeway, near Halloran Springs Road,” the sheriff’s department said.

The FAA identified the helicopter as a Eurocopter EC 130.

Nipton is a small town in San Bernardino County located about 12 miles southeast of Primm, Nevada.

By Saturday afternoon, February 10, an online newspaper, THEWILL reported that the chopper was transporting Herbert Wigwe, the CEO of Access Holdings. He was k!lled alongside about 5 others in California.

Sources said the chopper was headed to Las Vegas when it crashed near a border city between Nevada and California on Friday night. The US government confirmed all onboard dead.
