Actress Ejine Recounts Near-death Experience with Tricycle Rider (video)

Actress Ejine Okoroafor has recounted how how she narrowly missed death after she boarded a tricycle popularly known as keke in Enugu state on Monday, July 11.

Speaking via her Instagram story, Ejine stated that she was on her way to her hotel a movie shoot on location.

She boarded the tricycle but became uneasy when the tricycle rider decided to buy fuel while taking her to her destination. 

Ejine said she was in a hurry as because she was in her period and had stained herself. According to her, she expressed her displeasure with the decision of the rider and this angered the man who continued driving while talking to himself.

She added that she got scared and asked him to drop her. According to Ejine, the driver refused and continued to move, saying that he helped her despite the fact that Monday was a ”Sit at home” day.

Sensing danger, she said she jumped out of the tricycle but her gym bag was still hooked to a part of the tricycle and so as he was driving, he was dragging her along.

The actress added that onlookers came to her rescue and called her location manager who came and took her to the hospital.

Ejine said the hospital gave her two injections that began to make her feel uncomfortable as she was having internal cold.

When her condition became worse, she was referred to another hospital where she was stabilised and admitted.
