AFCON: Super Eagles Observe 1-Minute Silence for 4 Nigerians Who D!ed Watching Them Play (video)

The Super Eagles on Thursday night, February 9, observed a 1-minute silence for the 4 Nigerians who d!ed while watching their match against South Africa’s Bafana Bafana on Wednesday, February 7.

An APC chieftain, Cairo Ojougboh, an Ivory Coast based Nigerian businessman, a serving NYSC member as well as the Deputy Bursar of Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, Alhaji Ayuba Abdullahi, all died on Wednesday night, Feb. 7, during the semi-finals between Nigeria and South Africa in the ongoing AFCON.

The players gathered and observed a minute silence in honour of the deceased Nigerians and went on to say prayers for the repose of their souls and for God to comfort their families.
