Africa’s two closest brothers, Nigeria and Ghana are bickering again.
Certainly not over jollof rice this time, not even over locked up Nigerian shops or border closure or Charlie’s shenanigans.
This time, the bickering is over whose land American rapper, song writer and activist, Meek Mill should buy a landed property at.
The artiste, earlier today, made his intentions known via his verified twitter handle.
According to Meek Mill@MeekMill, “I want to buy a property in Ghana where do I start? A nice house ..I need to feel that experience With my family as another option in life!
“I don’t wanna dedicate my whole life to the American lifestyle I been living.. the odds are too stacked against us it feels like!”
While Ghanians welcomed his plans excitedly, Nigerians feel he should ignore Ghana and invest in Nigeria:
enzzy@kenzzyOK· “Replying to @MeekMillBuy a house in Nigeria Ghana isn’t lit at all”
Dehkunle of Africa @Dehkunle· Replying to @MeekMill “Davido would love to have you as his neighbor in banana Island-the most luxurious neighborhood in Africa.Come to Nigeria bro !!!”
Don’ get BLOCKED@ItsPrecious_Replying to @MeekMill “I’m from Ghana living in NJ rn, living in Ghana is very cheap and lit when you have your money and not lazy. Many ppl tend to bash Ghana because they are lazy, they want the money to automatically come to them without working for it. Pls pursue it”
