The National President, Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas has reacted to the viral video of a self-acclaimed actress being beaten up by unknown men.
Sharing the video on his Instagram page, the AGN president demanded the arrest of the men who forced the young lady to kneel down while at least 3 of them brutalized her with sticks, slaps and kicks.
They also tore her blouse into shreds and roughly shaved her nicely dyed hair on the instructions of their leader who insisted she be left roaming the streets like a mad woman since came to his yard raving mad to beat his new girlfriend.
The gang leader insisted that he was videotaping the encounter with her phone which he insisted she post on social media by herself.
He also ordered the distraught lady to tender an unreserved apology to his new girlfriend whom she not only beat up but bit on the breast because of him.
The actress, who is yet to be named, pleaded with the men but they continued to beat her threatening to harm her more if she ever came near his new girl.
Reacting to the video, the AGN president, Emeka Rollas called out his followers and the members of the public to make the video go viral so that the Nigerian police can intervene and arrest people behind the intimidation, pointing out that no woman deserves to be treated in such a dehumanising way.
He shared the video, saying, “Please let this go viral until the police arrest the people behind this dehumanization and female intimidation.”
