First daughter of Nigeria’s former Military Head of State, Miss Aisha Babangida turned 50 yesterday.
To mark the day, family, staff and friends were on hand to wish her happy birthday. The landmark celebration was low key no doubt owing to the #COVID19 pandemic and the low key celebrations directed by the federal and various state governments.
It still did not stop the endless gifts, especially of cakes that she received.
She did not also miss the chance to take pictures with her siblings and now aged father, Ibrahim Gbadamosi Babangida.
In the rather sober mood, Aisha Babangida did not miss the opportunity to ask her social media fans to pray for her.
As Aisha Babangida turns 50, it was also an occasion to thank them for their support and criticisms as she turns 50.
According to her:
“I was born ‘some years ago in Kaduna, but grew up in Lagos. Today is what they call a milestone. I honestly don’t know how I am to feel. But one thing I do know is that I am eternally grateful to God for blessing me with the truly nice InstaFamily.
“You have been supportive, dedicated, my biggest critic and friends.
“Thank you for letting me into your space. So today my gift to (next year am demanding o) is prayers of protection of the seen and unseen, abundant blessings and wisdom.
“Thank you o much for your goodwill messages today and always.
