Following President Muhammadu Buhari’s return from Hajj in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria’s first lady Aisha Buhari has shared family photos to celebrate the safe trip.
The President returned to Abuja after his 8-day official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where he also performed the Umrah (Lesser Hajj).
The presidential airplane landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at 5:08pm, after nearly 7 hours for a 4 to 5-hour Jeddah-Abuja flight due to the ongoing crisis in Sudan that necessitates the avoidance of the country’s entire airspace by air traffic.
To celebrate the trip, the First Lady took to her Instagram post on Wednesday night to share the family photos where she thanked Allah for the safe return of her husband.
Aisha Buhari wrote:”Alhamdullilah Baba ya dawo lafiya.” Translated in English as: “Thanks be to God Baba has returned safely.”
