Veteran Nollywood actor Akin Lewis has reminisced over his acting career of many decades.
Speaking during an interview posted on the official YouTube channel of Oyinmomotv, Lewis disclosed that all the colleagues with whom he started acting movies have passed on but alone, he has continued acting.
According to him, “I’m a well-educated person that is what helped my level of exposure in the movie industry.
“In this job, there is money and there is poverty, because when actors make a lot of money from movies, some of them spend it lavishly.
“There is no pension in our job, so it’s important to develop a saving habit for the future so that even when the actor is sick, he will be able to take care of himself.
“I started my movie career a long time ago with the likes of Olumide Bakare and some other colleagues.
“All my colleagues that we started acting movies together are dead, I’m the only one left.”
