News - Women's Perspective

Angry youths of Busunu,in the West Gonja Municipality of the Savannah Region in Ghana were sighted on Monday, rejecting bags of rice donated to them by their representative in parliament.

The NPP politician, Samuel Abu Jinapors had offloaded bags of rice to the youths but angry about the handout, they flung the bags right back into the truck that brought it

They demanded for jobs instead of the food handouts saying he was elected to empower them.

Luckily, the lawmaker did not accompany the truck. It is uncertain what would have befallen him.
