The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has fixed the price of N100 million for the nomination and expression of interest forms for its presidential aspirants.
APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morgan, announced this on Wednesday at a briefing with reporters in Abuja.
The National Executive Council (NEC) of the APC had earlier transferred its powers to the National Working Committee (NWC) under the leadership of the newly elected Senator Abdullahi Adamu for the next 90 days.
National Secretary of APC, Senator Iyiola Omisore told the the reporters that Senate President Ahmed Lawan moved the motion and was seconded by Governor Nasir El-rufai.
The National Publicity Secretary of the party, Felix Morka also confirmed the price for the nomination and expression of interest form after the 11th National Executive Meeting in Abuja.
APC noted that the nomination form would go for ₦70 million while expression of interest forms would go for ₦30 million.
The party’s forms for governorship aspirants cost ₦50 million; Senate, ₦20 million; House of Representatives, ₦10 million and State Houses of Assembly, ₦2 million.
Morka said women are entitled to free nomination forms but will pay for their expression of interest forms.
