The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, has been declared the winner of Saturday’s presidential election in Kogi State.
The declaration was made by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)’s Returning Officer in charge of the election, Professor Wahab Egbewole, in Lokoja on Tuesday.
According to the figures declared by INEC, the APC candidate scored 240,751 votes to defeat his closest rival, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who got 145,104 votes while the candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, came third with 56,217 votes.
