Fast-rising but controversial singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has alleged that the All Progressives Congress (APC) misled him as they did not pay him to campaign for them.
The Zazu crooner explained via a pinned video on Instagram that he was paid to perform at a show but was surprised when they took him to a rally.
He accused the APC of trying to ruin in his career adding that he collected N10 million as part payment and they are yet to pay him his balance.
He went on to state that he was not campaigning for the APC as people thought but was told he was paid to entertain just like he did for the PDP in 2015.
The singer also cleared the air about his comment in a viral video where he claimed he founded two notorious cult groups in Lagos.
He stated both in a video and a document signed by him and posted on his social media handles that he was misunderstood.
Portable noted that he never meant that he founded the 1 million boys cult group, but has over one million followers.
The singer, who spoke in Yoruba in a video on his Instagram account, said, “I was seated on my own when trouble came for me. When I said one million boys, I meant fans, not terrorists. Just the same way pastors have followers. I have followers; I am not a thief. I have people, don’t even try to come for me.”
portablebaeby._ “We appeal to the general public to stay calm as portable doesn’t know anything about one million boys he is only referring to one million fans and we all know he is a cruise master and we trust the Nigerian police force will do their investigations properly in agreement to what has been said thanks to all Zazu fans all over the world”
