A video has captured the moment residents of a street in Benin City, the Edo State capital took to their heels as armed robbers raided a yet to be identified business premises.
The operation is said to have taken place this afternoon.
The robbers are seen in the video, getting into their getaway ash coloured car, moving in reverse as they fired into the air to scare away anyone who would have attempted to stop them.
One eyewitness could be heard screaming that the robbers were armed with AK 47, and sure enough, the report from their rifle proved it to an automatic gun.
