Nigeria’s former Vice President and Presidential candidate of The People Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, expressed condolences and prayers for Tijjani Babangida, the former Super Eagles player, and his family, following a tragic car accident along the Kaduna-Zaria highway.
In a statement released on Saturday, Atiku Abubakar expressed sympathies to Tijjani Babangida and his loved ones, expressing profound sorrow over the loss of Ibrahim Babangida, Tijjani’s brother, who tragically lost his life in the accident.
“At this difficult time, my thoughts and prayers are with Tijjani Babangida, his wife, son, and maid, who were involved in a ghastly car crash. The loss of Ibrahim Babangida is a profound tragedy, and my heart goes out to the Babangida family as they navigate through this devastating loss,” said Atiku Abubakar.
