Naira Marley and his show promoter, Sammy Larry have been accused of complicity on and off social media with many demanding they be questioned by the police.

Following the public outcry over the singer’s death, his corpse, which was buried immediately has been exhumed for autopsy, while many Nigerians in various cities and abroad have held processions in his honour.

Meanwhile, there are indications that entertainment personalities in Awka have concluded plans to hold a candle light walk in his honour and also to demand justice.

The protest is billed to hold on Sunday, at 10 am at the Ekwueme square in Awka.

Although there are no known sponsors, sources said the protest would attract government attention.

Meanwhile, an indigene of the state, Ude Uzochukwu who reacted to the protest said: “Be honest. Just be honest, if Mohbad had died through a road accident or chronic illness would you have planned a candle night in Awka?

“When MC Loph died did you do a candle light for him in Owerri? When Muna Obiekwe died did you do a candle light for him in Awka?

“It’s time we stop this madness and social bandwagon. This rubbish must stop and at once. Everything is not activism. Can you give the public one reason for this proposed candle night in Awka? Just one tangible reason.”
