Yoruba Nollywood actor, Omiyinka Olanrewaju, also known as Baba Ijesha has released a video of himself before the rape incident in which he was seen groping a minor.
He was recently granted a N2 million bail by an Ikeja sexual offences court.
Justice Toyin Taiwo, the presiding judge granted embattled Baba Ijesha who had been in police custody since the 22nd of April, 2021, the bail on Thursday.
This follows the submissions of the prosecution and defence in the alleged sexual violation of the teenage girl.
The actor took to his social media pages to share a short video clip of himself and his colleagues before he was arrested by the police.
Captioned “A day before the incident,” the video which was posted Monday, comes a few days after the actor was granted bail.
Baba Ijesha is being tried for charges bothering on rape, sexual assault and abuse of a minor by the Directorate of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
State Counsel, Olayinka Adeyemi said, while appearing before Justice Taiwo that a a 6-count charge had been filed against the defendant.
He urged the court to take the plea of the defendant.
