A video showing mutilated naira notes hidden inside sacks has surfaced on social media.
The notes were discovered weeks after CBN announced the introduction of new designs which were later unveiled by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The newly re-designed national legal tender come in N200, N500 and N1000 denominations.
In a video that is making the rounds on social media, naira notes that have apparently been damaged due to moisture as a result of hoarding were seen.
