Notorious bandits leader, Halilu Sububu has demanded audience with Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari.

Speaking in a video interview with Daily Trust from his enclave in the Sububu forest, he revealed that the incessant attacks in Nigeria is because of a breach of agreement on the part of the government.

Sububu forest is located between Zamfara and Sokoto States.

Halilu Sububu said they did not benefit from the administrations of Musa Yar Adua, Obasanjo and Jonathan.

He added that things have deteriorated beyond what President Buhari can handle but they will be happy to have a personal audience with him.

He requested that the Federal government treat the Hausa, Yoruba and Fulani the same way.

According to Sububu, the agreement reached with the government “has been breached. you have asked for armistice, an agreement was reached but you left that person in a forest with a gun and nothing to substitute.

“What do you expect ? How do you want that person to survive ” All the promises made to us, none of it was fulfilled.

“Enrol the young ones in school … we should be treated the same way. Give them jobs with the government, put them in schools.

“The president should personally come and preside over the talks. When he was campaigning, he travelled all over, why would he not do it now ?

Sububu lamented that President Buhari “does not take these talks seriously and everyday, people are being killed.”
